Madilyn Ann

So here are a few pictures of our the past two days when we welcomed to our family Madilyn Ann. She was born on July 31, 2010 at 4:16 a.m. She was 8 pounds 10 ounces (9.5 really but they rounded it up) and was 20 inches long.

This is us at about 2:00 a.m. (7/31). We were settling down to get a little bit of sleep and the two doctors came in an said it was time to push.

At about 6:00a.m. This is our first family picture.

This is me changing my very first diaper (seriously). I was pretty scared, notice my gloves and my high-tech gas mask. I got it all done in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I will post the high five Maddie and I did after I got it done.

Going home outfit. Unfortunately she wasn't very happy when we put her in this.

This picture was taken right before we left the hospital. You can tell who has gotten the most sleep over the previous few days.

Just don't do it...

Guys please NEVER EVER EVER!!!! wear plaid shorts and a striped shirt. I don't know how many guys in the past few weeks that I have seen do this. It doesn't work!!! I was really bothered today seeing it yet again. That's all!

Completely backwards...

So I didn't realize that the way I uploaded these pictures was completely backwards from how they happened. So you can either scroll all the way down and be in order or you can just relive these memories backwards.

These are the cupcakes we had after Chili's. (Notice one is already eaten from, I was hungry) We eat at the same Chili's each year on our anniversary. It is the first place we went together as a married couple.

At Babies R' Us. This is Buzz Lightyear and I am giving him a piggy back ride. Too bad this toy was made for a 5 year old.

Losing it?????

So I started the week weighing 187 pounds. Although that is not the heaviest I have ever been that is the heaviest I have been in quite some time. I was a little upset with myself so I decided I was going to change this week. I have a crazy diet and it is actually working. Here is my secret, eat very little (but eat fiber bars), drink LOTS of water, and workout. It is really working because after two days I have lost 3 pounds. I won't continue this diet after this week but I am trying to get back to around 180. I will let you know how it turns out.
